The Unmentionables have a musical style that combines classic American arrangements with modern sensibilities.  Featuring all acoustic instrumentation -- guitar, violin and upright bass -- the band plays largely uptempo arrangements in a style that combines Dixieland jazz, folk, Celtic and country-western.  But while the music evokes days gone by, the lyrical content of the band's selections is timeless, examining the lives of people who never got and perhaps never deserved a break
